acdc has launched a dynamic white version of its popular Orelle Pro compact linear LED luminaire to allow the colour temperature of the luminaires to be tuned according to the time of day. The linears produce an even, uniform illumination of coffers and recess on a façade from 2700K – 6500K, whilst the uncollimated beam angles produce a full lit effect

Orelle Pro and Orelle Pro + are IP20 rated and deliver 1200lm and 3000lm per metre respectively, making the luminaires ideal for providing cove lighting to frame a perimeter and accentuate the height of a space.
Available in five lengths, the Orelle Pro can provide long continuous runs of 12 metres from one power source. A new feature of Orelle Pro is that it can now be adjusted from 0 – 30 degrees tilt to provide controllable directional light. By using the flexible connectors the product can also be used to follow shapes and curves offering excellent versatility in lighting design.
Installation of Orelle Pro is quick and simple as the luminaires feature ‘live click’ installation method, with no hot swap failures allowing the fitter to install the units whilst connected. To ensure the correct light effect for each application, Orelle Pro and Orelle Pro+ are both available with a range of accessories (clear lens, frosted lens and linear cowl) and controls (1-10V, Dali and DMX).

acdc Applications Director, Dan Hodgson, says: “Our Orelle Pro range provides a smooth, continuous and powerful light output with excellent colour rendering. The addition of dynamic white version enables the colour to change through the day and night to enhance the mood and environment. Particularly beneficial for restaurant, hospitality and retail applications, you may choose to use a warm colour in the morning, brighten through the day and then use a warm colour in the evening to reflect the natural sunrise to sunset pattern”.
