Following the success of the company’s Queen’s Award for International Trade last spring, Chelsom have been ranked number 65 in the 4th annual Sunday Times Lloyds SME Export Track 100 as published on 25th February. The league table ranks Britain’s small and medium-sized private companies with the fastest-growing international sales.
The prestigious accolade commemorates Chelsom’s exceptional growth and success in international business where they have achieved 52% growth in international sales over the last two years (131% over the last three years) equating to more than £5m of total sales in 2017.
Chelsom designs and manufactures decorative lighting for the global hotel and marine industries. Innovative in-house designs, high quality manufacturing and excellent service levels have contributed towards winning prestigious projects in over 70 countries across the world. Exports now account for around 40% of all sales and Chelsom has built an exceptionally strong client base including major hotel operators such as Four Seasons, Mandarin Oriental, Starwood, Hilton, Accor, Marriott and on the cruise ship side, Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, Crystal Cruises, Carnival Cruise Line and Norwegian Cruise Lines.
